It’s a crazy week leading up to Valentine’s Day: classroom party preps, valentines and celebration! So how about setting up your kids for a fast DIY valentine?

My two boys (6 and 7) love making valentines, but it can get taxing on everyone when the project is too complicated. So here’s our version of a last minute valentine your kids will be happy to share with their friends. This project only took us one hour!

While the kids are at school, cut out red hearts and puckered up lips. Then set up the assembly line!

Now kids are ready to begin. First, kids can write a love note on one side of the heart and then get to decorating their sweet, funny valentine.

What you need:
-Cut outs: Heart shapes and puckered up lips
-googly eyes
-pipe cleaners
-glue, tape
