Bio:

Donna Tetreault has been a TV reporter for more than 15 years in Los Angeles. She is also an educator and writer. Donna's unique experience has taken her career into several different directions.

TV reporting and writing: Donna Tetreault has been a parenting/family/education reporter for seven years. She is a regular contributor on the syndicated show, 'The Insider,' where she shares her thoughts and expertise on the latest kids' movies in the series, "Parents' Guide.' She is also a regular on Access Hollywood Live. She served as Parenting Contributor at FOX 11 in Los Angeles for two years. She reported for 'HLN's Raising America with Kyra Phillips.' She is a Huff Post blogger and also writes for LA Parent Magazine. She is the creator of DonnaTetreault.com. Donna interviews parents and national experts covering topics from infants to teens. Her parenting reports have been seen on national and local programs. (Fox News, HLN, 'Home and Family,' 'The Insider,' 'Access Hollywood Live,' KCBS and Fox 11)

Donna has been a general assignment reporter working in L.A. for CNN, KCBS-TV, and KNBC-TV.

Donna has covered major news events throughout her career, including the death of Princess Diana and the death of Michael Jackson. She also covered Michael Jackson's 2005 molestation trial. She was on the front lines covering countless California wildfires and mudslides. She's reported from the state Capitol and covered several elections. Donna also worked as an Education reporter for KCBS, using her expertise as a former L.A.U.S.D teacher.

Education Work: Currently, Donna is partnering with Harvard University's Graduate School of Education. She is working on the school's initiative, 'Making Caring Common.' Donna worked as an elementary school teacher for L.A.U.S.D., in East L.A. She taught kindergarten, 1st, 4th and 5th grades. She has also taught journalism classes at U.C.L.A. Extension. One of her favorite courses is "The Art of the Interview."

Community Work: Donna is the Founder and Executive Director of 'Care Fair L.A.' A community event to provide children and families with the tools to teach kindness and inclusion of all people. Donna saw a growing need to make this type of curriculum available to all kids via her reporting, writing and research. Donna lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Andrew, and their two sons, ages eight and nine.
